The WA group typically have quarterly informal social gatherings over lunch from noon on the first Wednesday of March, June, September and December at The Herdy, 33 Herdsman Parade, Wembly, The venue is accessible and has plenty of parking.
May is Myositis Awareness Month and MAA is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. A special Family and Friends Get Together to celebrate both events is being held on Sunday May 7, 2023 at Koorak Cafe & Restaurant in Kings Park, Perth. The weekend date has been selected to encourage family and friends to come along and make it a fun day and a chance for us to thank all those who help our members. Koorak is a licensed, casual diner adjacent to the Ivey Watson playground, so bring along your kids and grandkids. Access, parking and facilities are all wheelchair friendly. Tables are booked from 12 noon and if you wish to stay longer there will be some fun and trivia to follow.
