World Myositis Day Resources
World Myositis Day had its foundations in the USA some years ago. Over the last few years, there’s been a collaborative effort by groups around the world: from USA, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, France, Poland, India and Australia to recognise World Myositis Day on 21st September.
World Myositis Day 2025, observed on September 21st, aims to increase public awareness of myositis, a group of rare, progressive muscle diseases, and to advance research towards a cure and better treatments. Key goals include educating the public, connecting patients and their families with support and resources, promoting advocacy efforts, and accelerating the search for a cure by bringing greater visibility to the disease within the medical community and government.
Here are a range of downloadable resources for members to use on Social Media or other forums to promote World Myositis Day. There are 2 short videos, the World Myositis Day Logo and a press release.
